The Mega Demon is big- I wanted something to fill the theater space of my front yard.
I first constructed the basic frame, then dressed it on its back, put on the head (biggest I had, could have used a bigger one), then got a big ladder and finished up with the clipping and arranging of fabrics.
I inserted branches in the ends of the PVC arms for hands, which I think gives it a nice organic and odd appearance.
This is big and heavy enough to merit four green garden stakes duct taped to its spine for support, as well as one stake at the end of each arm. They’re green and aren’t that noticeable and you’ve got to make sure your structure is going to hold up against wind and gravity!
It’s big enough that it needed a few LED ground spots to illuminate from below at night.
